Abstract

This article examines in detail the importance and content of spiritual and moral education as a foundation for the formation of a preschool child's personality. Spiritual and moral upbringing is a crucial aspect of developing a child’s inner world, moral understanding, and behavioral norms. The study emphasizes the significance of moral values and their impact on shaping the child’s character. Special attention is given to the role of educators, parents, and the child’s social environment in nurturing these qualities. Since children tend to imitate adults, adults serve as essential role models in the learning process. The article also highlights the influence of Kyrgyz national traditions, folk tales, proverbs, and heroic examples from epic literature in the moral education of children. Effective educational methods such as play-based learning, storytelling, and interactive communication are analyzed, along with practical recommendations for their implementation. This scholarly work serves as a valuable resource for teachers, caregivers, and parents involved in organizing spiritual and moral education in preschool institutions.
