Legal Problems of Protecting Inherited Property in the Kyrgyz Republic

This article examines current legal problems related to the protection of inherited property in the Kyrgyz Republic. The study is based on the current civil, family, notarial, registration, and civil procedural legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is substantiated that the protection of inherited property is not limited to safeguarding the objects included in the estate, but also constitutes a set of measures aimed at determining the composition of the estate, allocating the share of the surviving spouse, preventing the unlawful alienation of property, protecting the rights of heirs and creditors of the deceased, and ensuring subsequent judicial protection. The purpose of this article is to identify the main legal problems concerning the protection of inherited property in the Kyrgyz Republic and to formulate proposals for improving legislation and the practice of its application.
