This article analyzes the historical development of traditional home furniture of the Kyrgyz people, their place in nomadic life and transformational changes in modern society. The study examines the types of traditional furniture used in the interior design of the yurt, their functional and aesthetic features, and compares them with new forms in modern interior culture. Also, the processes of change in the Kyrgyz furniture industry under the influence of globalization, urbanization and modern design trends are characterized on a scientific basis.
