Abstract

This article examines the psychological aspects of assessing the vulnerability of women, children, and individuals with disabilities to climate change, including the emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social components of vulnerability. The relevance of the topic and the practical value of the article lie in its exploration of the characteristics of climate risks that have a complex impact on the mental state and adaptive capacity of these groups. Risk factors, psychological reactions, and mechanisms for developing resilience are analyzed. Recommendations are provided for improving safety and security measures to protect women, children, and individuals with disabilities from climate change, enabling them to lead successful lives, and strategies for psychological and social support and civic education are identified.
