This paper examines the foreign policy of the United States toward the Middle East during the years 1945-1949. In the aftermath of World War II, the United States sought to strengthen its political, economic, and strategic influence in the region. The study analyzes the importance of oil resources, the rivalry with the Soviet Union during the early Cold War period, the role of the Truman Doctrine, and the U.S. position regarding the establishment of the State of Israel. Special attention is given to diplomatic relations between the United States and Turkey, Iran, and the Arab countries. The article highlights the main objectives of U.S. policy in the Middle East and its impact on regional geopolitical developments.
