Features of the Education System of the DPRK in the Conditions of an Ideological State

This article examines the characteristics of the education system in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the context of its historical formation, legal framework, and current state educational policy. It analyzes the structure and main levels of the DPRK's educational system, the mechanisms of state and party governance in education, and the specifics of school, higher, supplementary, and distance education. Particular attention is paid to the ideological orientation of the educational process, the role of public organizations in educating young people, and the influence of the Soviet model on the development of the North Korean education system. The article examines the specifics of personnel training, the functioning of higher education institutions, and the implementation of modern information technologies in the educational process. It concludes that the DPRK's educational system is highly centralized and closely intertwined with the country's state and political ideology.
